C.T. Male provided a wide range of consulting services to support the redevelopment of an approximate 10-acre site in Yonkers, transforming a deteriorated 1940s-era facility into modern housing.

Key tasks included:

• Environmental Site Assessments: Conducted Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, including surface soil and groundwater sampling, soil boring installation, and well installation.
• Surveying & Hazardous Materials Management: Performed boundary and topographic surveys and conducted hazardous materials assessments, including asbestos and lead based paint surveys, asbestos abatement design, and demolition plans.
• Geotechnical & Remediation Support: Delivered geotechnical evaluations, evaluated subsurface conditions to identify contamination, and designed and implemented interim remedial measures (IRMs).
• Construction & Monitoring Services: Provided construction observation, Community Air Monitoring Program implementation, and excavation confirmatory sampling during remedial action activities, along with support for the NYSDEC Brownfields Program (BCP).

These services ensured thorough environmental assessment and remediation, supporting the revitalization of the area.
