Town of Malta

C.T. Male assisted the Town of Malta in evaluating the purchase of a private water company by providing crucial technical and engineering support.

Key services included:

• Infrastructure Assessment: Conducted a visual inspection and condition assessment of subject infrastructure, alongside a Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) of multiple parcels over 70 acres.
• Hydrogeologic Analysis: Analyzed two (2) active well fields, evaluated their capacity and performance, and identified potential contaminant threats to the host unconsolidated aquifer systems.
• Well Stress Testing: Performed yield testing on key wells to evaluate the current capability of pumps and screens, confirming well efficiency and capacity exceeded expectations.
• Planning & Engineering Support: Prepared an Opinion of Probable Infrastructure Replacement Cost and assisted in planning and engineering support for the formation of a water district.

These services provided the Town with critical data to make informed decisions about the water company purchase and future water management.
