Facility Evaluation, Feasibility Study & Life Safety Alterations –
Town of AuSable Keeseville Civic Center

C.T. Male initially partnered with the Town of AuSable as a Grant Writer to secure funding for the evaluation of the Keeseville Civic Center, formerly the Keeseville High School. After years of ownership transfers and deferred maintenance, the building was in significant disrepair. Through a series of workshops, C.T. Male worked closely with the Town to assess the facility and explore reuse options aimed at transforming the property into a valuable community asset.

The evaluation concluded that substantial infrastructure and life safety upgrades were necessary before the building could be reoccupied. Recommended improvements included enhancements to the thermal envelope, ADA accessibility, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (such as new accessible restrooms) and repairs to the exterior brick, cast stone, and concrete entrances to bring the facility back into code compliance.
