WWTP Roofing & HVAC

Glens Falls Wastewater Treatment Plant required replacement of roofing on several of its buildings as well has replacement of various HVAC systems on those roofs. C.T. Male’s Electrical Engineering division provided electrical engineering support for HVAC and Boiler upgrades. An evaluation was performed, and recommendations given for the sites lightning protection system which was adversely impacted by the high concentrations of Hydrogen Sulfide in the atmosphere.  These conditions are to be expected at a wastewater treatment plant but are atypical for lightning protection systems.
