C.T. Male was responsible for construction staking right-of-way, limits of disturbance, sensitive wetland areas, work pads, access roads and poles. Two existing 115kv powerlines on wood poles are being replaced with steel monopoles capable of 345kv over a 55-mile section of right-of-way between Croghan and Marcy, NY known as the Southern Alignment. The project began in the fall of 2022 and expected to run through 2025.  As of October 2023, C.T. Male has spent over 17,000 labor hours on the job and set tens of thousands of stakes being used for construction.
