Airgas and Air Liquide Company –
Arc Flash Study

C.T. Male conducted an Arc Flash Analysis and Power study for Airgas, at their Albany, NY facility. This was a complete building power study that began at the medium voltage utility interconnection and continued to low voltage branch panels, motor loads, and disconnects.

The study was completed using EasyPower to model the electrical system and conduct NFPA 70E Arc Flash calculations for the buildings distribution system. Existing electrical equipment and conductors were verified using on-site data collection in partnership with two electricians from Martin Electric. C.T. Male provided a full report, stamped by a NYS Professional Engineer, on all Power Study findings. NEC/NFPA required Arc Flash labels were provided and applied by C.T. Male, and OSHA/PESH compliant electrical safety training was made available.
