C.T. Male was awarded the contract for design, bid, and construction administrative services to evaluate existing operations at the 35 Erie Blvd property. The objective was to identify areas for site improvement and develop heated and unheated storage solutions tailored to equipment type and operational use. A key goal was to enhance operational efficiency, consolidate storage, and enable leasing of a portion of the site to the adjacent neighbor, Huck Finn Play Land.

Scope of Work included:

• Demolition of the existing facility, including abatement of asbestos-containing materials and lead paint.
• Temporary relocation and storage of existing stockpiles and reusable materials.
• Construction of a new facility to meet current and future needs of the Albany Water Board (AWB).
• Site plan design addressing vehicle traffic patterns, garage access, stockpile and laydown storage access, site security, lease area access, and limited public access.
• Site utility connections and distribution.
• Stormwater management collection and treatment measures.
• Implementation of LEED and other sustainable practices for site and building development.
• SEQRA and other required permitting processes.
