Holland Circle Apartments

Holland Circle Apartments was a proposed 48 Bed affordable and mental health housing project located in Amsterdam, NY. To meet stringent zoning requirements the project was designed as a disassembled massing of four residential blocks connected to a central common use hub. The smaller residential blocks, coupled with environmental site constraints forced the development of a 3 story plan to fit on a tight 3 acres portion of a much larger lot. The facility serves a local need for supportive mental health housing and affordable housing units. The blended program allows the agency to support existing clients by offering independent housing within a supervised environment as well as serve at risk individuals and families that need a safe, supportive environment to maintain quality of life.
