Town of Rensselaerville
C.T. Male was retained by the Town of Rensselaerville to assess the town’s water supply system and explored groundwater alternatives, due to ongoing water quality issues. Our evaluation and report helped secure over $2.5M in state funding to improve the water system.
Key Services Provided:
- Hydrogeologic Evaluation: Assessed groundwater alternatives to meet current and future water needs.
- Groundwater Source Analysis: Reviewed previous studies and identified potential groundwater exploration sites.
- Engineering Evaluation: Analyzed the existing raw water source, treatment facility, distribution system, and water storage facility.
- Cost Analysis: Evaluated alternative drinking water sources, treatment requirements, and water storage options.
- Preliminary Engineering Report: Supported the Town’s eligibility for a $2.5M New York State Base Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) grant for system upgrades.
